Standards Against Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE)
Effective date: 4/3/2026
PetNet has a zero-tolerance policy for Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE). We prohibit any content or behavior that sexually exploits, abuses, or endangers children. This includes, by way of example, grooming a child for sexual exploitation, sextorting a child, trafficking of a child for sex, or otherwise sexually exploiting a child.
Scope and Definitions
- CSAE: child sexual abuse and exploitation, including any material or conduct that sexualizes or exploits a minor (a person under the age of 18, or the age of majority in the relevant jurisdiction if higher).
- Prohibited Content: imagery, videos, text, or links that depict or facilitate CSAE, including sexualized content featuring minors, encouragement of sexual contact with minors, grooming, or any exchange that sexualizes a minor.
- Prohibited Conduct: attempting to contact or solicit a minor for sexual purposes, grooming, sextortion, trafficking, or coordinating off-platform CSAE activity.
Enforcement
- Immediate removal of violating content and permanent suspension of involved accounts.
- Preservation of relevant data and prompt reporting to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and/or appropriate authorities where required.
- Cooperation with law enforcement as legally mandated.
Detection and Reporting
- We investigate user reports and take swift action on credible CSAE allegations.
- Users can report content or accounts in-app and via our Support page.
Appeals
If you believe an enforcement action was taken in error, you may contact support to request a review. We may limit or decline appeals for egregious CSAE violations.
